Title Title – Wild Thing

In 1989 Tone Loc struck gold sampling Van Halen’s Jamie’s Crying to create the dance hall jam “Wild Thing”. Tone’s raspy voice and tounge and cheek lyrics made the tune and instant hit. In June 1966, The Trogg’s Wild Thing cracked the top of the charts with its combination of a simple heavy guitar riff and flirtatious lyrics.
