Dave Grohl Alley

Though he grew up in Virginia, Dave Grohl was born in Warren, Ohio. To commemorate Grohl’s birthplace, in 2009 retired Warren police officer Joseph O’Grady opened Dave Grohl Alley, a collection of murals and artwork dedicated to Grohl. The alley includes the world’s largest pair of drumsticks, and Grohl himself showed up at the alley’s dedication ceremony when it opened.

Marc and I had the chance to visit the alley on Friday (August 30). If you want to go check it out, it’s an easy find right off downtown Warren, and if you want to hang out, you can grab a drink at Modern Methods Brewery, which is right in the alley.
