Exactly 40 years ago today, the television show Three’s a Crowd debuted on ABC to begin a one-season run. It’s theme song, “Side by Side,” was written by Michael Lloyd, with lyrics by Lloyd along with Al Kasha, Joel Hirschhorn, and Don Nicholl.
