5 Years Back for SexyBack

This coming Monday (September 12) will mark five years since the release of Justin Timberlake’s album FutureSex/LoveSounds, which was the second album of Timberlake’s solo career following his success with ‘N Sync.  At the time of the album’s release, its first single, “SexyBack,” sat at the top of Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart, having reached the top exactly five years ago today.  The song would stay at the top for seven consecutive weeks and would be followed at the top by the second and third singles off the album:  “My Love” and “What Goes Around … Comes Around.”
