Stephen Bishop
San Diego born singer-songwriter Stephen Bishop turns 60 today. Bishop scored four top 40 hits in the late 1970s and early 1980s, charting the highest with “On And On” in 1977. He also performed a number of theme songs from films, including “Animal House” from Animal House and “It Might Be You” from Tootsie, which is featured above. His biggest hit came as a writer, though, when Phil Collins and Marilyn Martin’s song “Separate Lives” from White Nights hit number 1 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart in November 1985.
