Right On Track
Not to be confused with the John Hughes film bearing almost the same title, exactly 25 years ago today, the New York-based band Breakfast Club peaked at number 7 with their only top 40 hit, “Right On Track.” That single appeared on their only studio album, Breakfast Club, which came out that same year, though they had been performing and making music since the 1970s.Â
Outside of their brief success in 1987, the band’s other major claim to fame is that Madonna was a member in the late 1970s and early 1980s.
