Jimmy Eat World

Arizona-based band Jimmy Eat World has been making music since 1993, and while they’ve had a number of hits on alternative radio during that time, their only single to hit the Top 40 on the pop chart was “The Middle,” which hit number 5 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart exactly 10 years ago today.  The song’s popularity was fueled not only by its energetic beat, but also by the heavy exposure (pun intended) that its video received.
