Mr. Wendal

20 years ago this week, Arrested Development’s #6 hit “Mr. Wendal” debuted on the Billboard music charts. The song was written to address the issues of the U.S. homeless population and encourages people not to ignore them just because of their status or how they look. I always remember the scream and the mellow delivery of this rap classic! I think this would be played heavily on my light rap station.

The rap group released their 10th album in August of 2012 and is still touring after twenty years. Check out their website for more information.
