Hands To Heaven
Exactly 25 years ago, British band Breathe peaked at number 2 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart with their very first charting single, “Hands to Heaven.” In addition to serving as their debut, “Hands to Heaven” would mark the band’s highest chart success. Breathe would hit number 3 with their next single, “How Can I Fall?,” and number 10 with the single after that, “Don’t Tell Me Lies.” All three singles came from their debut album, All That Jazz.
In 1990, Breathe would release a second album, Peace of Mind, and hit number 21 with “Say a Prayer” and number 34 with “Does She Love That Man?” from that disc. Breathe disbanded after their second album, having hit the Top 40 with all five of their Hot 100 singles.
