Sweet Child O’ Mine

Exactly 25 years ago, Guns N Roses was in the second week of a two-week run at the top of Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart with their only number one hit, “Sweet Child O’ Mine.”  While “Sweet Child O’ Mine” was the only song by the Los Angeles-based band to ascend to number one, it was the first of four straight top 10 hits for GNR.  The band would also hit the Top 10 two more times a few years later to run their total to six.
