The Joker
The Steve Miller Band has hit number 1 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart three times. In September 1982, they spent two weeks at number 1 with “Abracadabra.” Before that, they spent one week at the top in November 1976 with “Rock’n Me.” Their first number one hit, though, was “The Joker,” which hit number 1 for one week exactly 40 years ago.
