Footloose

In the 1980s, Kenny Loggins became the king of the soundtrack hit, with Top 10 hits from Caddyshack, Footloose, Top Gun, and Caddyshack II as well as just missing the Top 10 with “Meet Me Half Way” from Over The Top.  The biggest hit of those songs topped Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart exactly 30 years ago, as “Footloose” rose to the number 1 spot.  The song would spend three weeks at the top, and it was the only single of Loggins’ career to hit number 1.
