News has circulated about the passing of Rodney Bryce, known as DJ E-Z Rock, on Sunday. E-Z Rock is best known for his collaboration with Rob Base on the single “It Takes Two,” which peaked at number 36 in 1988 and has since become a hip-hop staple. The duo also hit Billboard‘s Hot 100 with a second single, “Joy and Pain,” which peaked at number 58 in 1989.
