DEF: Kylie Minogue “I Should Be So Lucky”

In 1988, Australian actress and singer Kylie Minogue scored the first Top 10 hit of her career when her remake of the classic Little Eva hit “The Loco-Motion” peaked at number 3 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart. Nearly a decade and a half later, in 2002, Minogue hit the Top 10 once again, as “Can’t Get You Out Of My Head” peaked at  number 7. Minogue’s chart career began, though, with the single before “The Loco-Motion.” That single, “I Should Be So Lucky,” peaked at number 28 on this date in 1988, and it is today’s Daily Eighties Flashback.
