DEF: Daryl Hall & John Oates “Out Of Touch”
Philadelphia-based duo and recent Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees Daryl Hall & John Oates have six number one singles on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart to their names. Their first chart-topping single came in 1977, when “Rich Girl” spent two weeks at number one. Their final number one single also spent two weeks at the top, and exactly 30 years ago, that song — “Out Of Touch” — climbed into the number one spot.
