DEF: Waylon Jennings “Theme From The Dukes of Hazzard”

Country music superstar Waylon Jennings enjoyed a little bit of success crossing over to the popular music charts in the 1970s and early 1980s. That success included three Top 40 hits on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart, all of which peaked in the 20s. Exactly 35 years ago, the biggest of these three hits, the theme song from the television show The Dukes of Hazzard, reached its peak position of number 21, where it would spend two weeks.
