Everett, Washington-born musician Kenny Loggins scored 13 Top 40 hits on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart in the 1980s, ranging from “This Is It,” which was in the Top 40 as the decade began, to “Nobody’s Fool” in 1988. His fifth Top 40 hit came in late 1982 and early 1983, with “Heart To Heart.” On this date in 1983, “Heart To Heart” hit its peak position of number 15, where it would spend five weeks.
