25 Years Ago in the Nineties: Seduction “Two To Make It Right”
New York City-based group Seduction scored four Top 40 hits on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart, all within about a one-year time period from mid-1989 to mid-1990. The biggest of those hits, and the only Top 10 hit from the bunch, was “Two To Make It Right,” which sampled two Top 40 hits from 1988: The Art of Noise and Tom Jones’ remake of Prince’s “Kiss” and Rob Base and D.J. E-Z Rock’s “It Take Two.” Exactly 25 years ago, “Two To Make It Right” was in the midst of a two-week run at a peak position of number 2.
