Bob and Doug McKenzie are characters performed by comedians Rick Moranis and Dave Thomas, originally as the hosts of a sketch on SCTV titled “Great White North.” The duo turned the skit into a film, Strange Brew, and a recording career that spawned one single that reached Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart.
