San Francisco-based band Night Ranger have appeared on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart eleven times, with all of those appearances occurring in the 1980s. Among those singles, Night Ranger reached its greatest success with “Sister Christian,” which on this date in 1984 climbed to a peak position of number 5, where it would spend two weeks.
