British band the Yardbirds hit the Top 20 with their first five singles to reach Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart and the Top 40 with their first six. Their first two singles climbed to the Top 10, the band’s only two Top 10 hits.

All of this started with “For Your Love,” which exactly 50 years ago rose to a peak position of number 6, where it would spend one week, making it the biggest hit of the Yardbird’s career.
