A Reason for Celebration

You’ve likely heard the song at sporting events, weddings, and all kinds of other ritual gatherings.  “Celebration” was Kool & The Gang’s only number 1 hit, hitting the top of Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart for a two-week run exactly 30 years ago today.  They also hit the top ten with 11 other songs, including such memorable hits as “Too Hot” and “Cherish.”
