Al B. Sure!

Exactly 25 years ago, Boston-born singer and songwriter Al B. Sure! peaked at number 7 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart with his debut single, “Nite and Day.”  Though he was also a featured artist along with a number of others on the Quincy Jones hit “The Secret Garden (Sweet Seduction Suite),” which peaked at number 31 a few years later, “Nite and Day” was Sure!’s only Top 40 hit on his own.
