I have been compiling a list of the best cover songs for quite some time and HIM’s version of “Wicked Game” ranks high on the list. The original version by Chris Isaak is almost impossible to top because the sultry vocals and majestic overtones are perfect combination. However HIM’s version stays in true form to the original but adds a crisper modern edge to the song. Is this song worthy of a best cover song?
