Birthday of the Week: Bill Medley
This week’s Birthday of the Week is Bill Medley of The Righteous Brothers, who turns 80 on Saturday (September 19). To commemorate his milestone, let us know your favorite song featuring Medley, either as part of The Righteous Brothers or in other work. My favorite song from The Righteous Brothers is their version of “Unchained Melody,” but Bobby Hatfield sang lead on it. Among songs featuring Medley on vocals, my favorite is his duet with Jennifer Warnes, “(I’ve Had) The Time of My Life” from the 1987 film Dirty Dancing.
