Birthday of the Week: Neil Tennant
Among a number of great choices, this week’s Birthday of the week is Neil Tennant. Tennant is known as one half of the duo the Pet Shop Boys, who experienced their greatest pop music success between 1986 and 1988 when they hit the Top 40 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart six times. On Wednesday (July 10), Tennant turns 60.
In honor of Neil Tennant’s milestone, what’s your favorite song from the Pet Shop Boys? I could have made an argument for several songs as my favorite, though in the end, the Pet Shop Boys’ version of the Village People’s “Go West” is my favorite.
