Brian Howe Versus Sammy Hagar
Back in 1985, Sammy Hagar replaced David Lee Roth of Van Halen. Back in 1986, Brian Howe replaced Paul Rodgers of Bad Company. Both vocalists replaced classic line-up singers and went on to hold their own with multiple albums with a string of hits. However, ultimately the bands went back to the original line ups and want to forget the era that kept them afloat from the mid-1980s through the mid-1990s.
Brian’s biggest album was his duet with Bad Company entitled Holy Water. Sammy’s biggest album with Van Halen was his duet entitled “5150“. Why don’t they go on tour together and call it the Bad Van Tour? Then both singers can celebrate the hits that kept their bands relevant for a decade.
