Congrats Donnie and Marie

Entertainment Tonight is 30 years old this year. Back in 1980, did the producers of the show make a deal with Donnie and Marie Osmond? I watch the show at least once a week and every episode I catch there is either a glimpse of Donne Osmond, Marie Osmond, The Osmond Family or both Donnie and Marie together. Perhaps the show should be renamed to “Entertainment Osmond”? The name doesn’t seem to have the same ring to it.
