Exactly 40 years ago, the television show Simon & Simon began its eight-season run on CBS. While the first season featured The Thrasher Brothers’ “Best of Friends” as its theme song, starting with the second season, the show used the now more recognized theme composed by Barry De Vorzon and Michael Towers.
