Exactly 40 years ago, The Pretenders‘ Learning to Crawl album was released. Most of the album’s songs hit one chart or another, including Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart, Billboard‘s Album Rock Tracks chart, and the UK Singles chart. One of the few songs that didn’t was the album’s fourth track, “Watching the Clothes.”
