Dee Dee Warwick
You’ve very likely heard of Dionne Warwick, who experienced nearly a quarter century of chart success on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart between her first Top 40 hit, “Don’t Make Me Over,” which peaked at number 21 in 1963, and her last Top 40 hit, “Love Power,” a duet with Jeffrey Osborne that peaked at number 12 in 1987.
You’re less likely, though, to know Dionne’s sister, Dee Dee, who hit the Hot 100 seven times herself. Unlike her sister, Dee Dee never hit the Top 40, though she did come as close as she could get. Her highest-charting single, “I Want To Be With You,” peaked at number 41 in 1966. Dee Dee thus makes the list of the biggest no-hit wonders in chart history.
