DEF: ABC “The Look Of Love”
Sheffield, England-based band ABC have appeared on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart seven times, all in the 1980s, with five of those singles hitting the Top 40 and four of the singles peaking in the Top 20. ABC’s very first charting single, “The Look Of Love,” reached all of those heights, as on this date in 1983, it rose to its peak position of number 18, where it would spend three weeks.
