DEF: André Cymone “Kelly’s Eyes”
Though he was the bassist in Prince’s band in the late 1970s and early 1980s, André Cymone never hit Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart as a solo artist. He did, though, reach the Bubbling Under chart once, with “Kelly’s Eyes,” which on this date in 1983 began its three-week chart run.
