Toledo, Ohio-born singer/songwriter Anita Baker has hit the Top 40 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart five times during her career. Two of those singles hit the Top 10, including her very first charting single, “Sweet Love,” which peaked at number 8 in 1986. Her most successful single, though, came in 1988, when “Giving You The Best That I Got” reached number 3.
