DEF: Arcadia “Election Day”

In 1985, Duran Duran members Simon LeBon, Nick Rhodes, and Roger Taylor put out one album under the group name Arcadia. That album, So Red The Rose, produced two singles that appeared on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart, both of which reached the Top 40. The first of those two singles — “Election Day” — hit the Top 10, and exactly 30 years ago, it climbed to a peak position of number 6, where it would spend two weeks.
