DEF: B. B. King “There Must Be A Better World Somewhere”
B. B. King, who is considered one of the greatest guitarists of all time, passed away Thursday at the age of 89.
King rose to prominence in the 1950s and experienced much of his popular music success in the 1960s and 1970s, though he continued to release new material through 2008. In the 1980s, King released five studio albums, the first of which, appropriately to remember him by, was titled There Must Be A Better World Somewhere. In memory of King, the title track from that album is today’s Daily Eighties Flashback.
