DEF: Balance “Breaking Away”
New York-based band Balance hit Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart twice, with both of those singles coming from their self-titled album released in 1981. One of the two singles, “Breaking Away,” hit the Top 40, and on this date in 1981, “Breaking Away” hit its peak position of number 22, where it would spend two weeks.
