Los Angeles-based band the Bangles have reached the Top 40 with all eight singles they have placed on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart, all coming between 1986 and 1989. On this date in 1989, the band’s last Top 40 single, “Be With You,” climbed to a peak position of number 30, where it would spend one week.
