DEF: Big Country “Fields Of Fire”

Scottish band Big Country is most remembered for their song “In A Big Country,” which reached the Top 20 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart in late 1983. The band did, though, make two more appearances on the chart, and on this date in 1984, the first of those two additional singles — “Fields Of Fire” — climbed to a peak position of number 52, where it would spend two weeks.
