Though he hit the Top 40 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart once in the 1970s, Trinidad-born singer Billy Ocean‘s greatest period of pop music success began with his 1984 album Suddenly, which produced four Top 40 hits, three of which reached the Top 5.
