DEF: Bob Seger “Shakedown”

Detroit-born musician Bob Seger has hit Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart thirty-two times, with nineteen of those songs reaching the Top 40 and seven climbing to the Top 10. His biggest hit came when he contributed the song “Shakedown” to the 1987 film Beverly Hills Cop II. Exactly 30 years ago, “Shakedown” rose to number one to become Seger’s only chart-topping hit.
