Over the course of nearly three and a half decades, New Jersey-based band Bon Jovi have made thirty appearances on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart, with nineteen of those songs reaching the Top 40, ten climbing to the Top 10, and four hitting number one. Amid all of that success, the band’s biggest hit is the song that is perhaps their signature hit, “Livin’ on a Prayer.” Exactly 30 years ago, “Livin’ on a Prayer” rose to number one for a four-week reign.
