DEF: Chicago “You’re Not Alone”

After reaching the Top 10 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart twelve times in the 1970s, the band Chicago racked up seven more Top 10 hits in the 1980s (and would add one more in the 1990s). The band’s 1988 album Chicago 19 produced the last three of their Top 10 hits from the 1980s, including “You’re Not Alone,” which on this date in 1989 climbed to a peak position of number 10 to become the band’s final Top 10 hit of the decade. “You’re Not Alone” by Chicago is today’s Daily Eighties Flashback.
