DEF: Chilliwack “My Girl (Gone, Gone, Gone)”

Over the course of just over a decade from early 1972 through late 1982, Vancouver, British Columbia-based band Chilliwack hit Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart with seven singles. Two of those singles hit the Top 40, including the band’s biggest hit, “My Girl (Gone, Gone, Gone).” On this date in 1981, “My Girl (Gone, Gone, Gone)” reached its peak position of number 22, where it would spend two weeks.
