DEF: Corey Hart “Never Surrender”
Montreal-born singer/songwriter Corey Hart hit Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart ten times between 1984 and 1990, with all but one of those singles, including the first seven, reaching the Top 40. Two of those singles — “Sunglasses At Night” and “Never Surrender” — hit the Top 10, with “Never Surrender” providing Hart with his biggest chart success, rising to number 3. On this date in 1985, “Never Surrender” hit its peak position, where it would spend two weeks.
“Never Surrender” is today’s Daily Eighties Flashback.
