DEF: Dolly Parton “9 To 5”
In addition to her tremendous success on the country music chart, Tennessee-born superstar Dolly Parton has hit number one on Billboard‘s Hot 100 twice as a performer in her career. Exactly 35 years ago, Parton topped the chart for the first time as “9 To 5,” from the film of the same name in which she costarred, climbed to number one for the first of two weeks.
