Dallas, Texas-based band Edie Brickell and New Bohemians are most remembered for their Top 10 hit “What I Am,” which reached number 7 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart in 1989. They did, though, also reach the Hot 100 one more time, with their follow-up single, “Circle.” On this date in 1989, “Circle” rose to a peak position of number 48, where it would spend two weeks.
