DEF: Erasure “A Little Respect”
London-based duo Erasure hit the Top 20 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart with their first two charting singles. The first of those singles, “Chains Of Love,” climbed to number 12 in October of 1988, and the second, “A Little Respect,” reached number 14. The band added one more Top 20 single with “Always,” which peaked at number 20 in 1994.
On this date in 1989, “A Little Respect” reached its peak position, where it would spend one week. Today, it’s the Daily Eighties Flashback.
