DEF: Eric Carmen “Make Me Lose Control”

Cleveland-born musician Eric Carmen has hit the Top 10 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart three times. After first reaching number 2 in 1976 with “All By Myself,” Carmen took nearly twelve more years before returning to the Top 10. He would then, though, reach the Top 10 twice in less than year. Exactly 30 years ago, the second song in Carmen’s comeback, and the third of his trio of Top 10 hits, “Make Me Lose Control,” rose to a peak position of number 3.
