DEF: Fleetwood Mac “Love In Store”
The story of London-based band Fleetwood Mac is basically a play with two acts. Between 1980 and 1983, they hit Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart seven times, with five of those singles reaching the Top 40. Then, after a four-year hiatus, from 1987 to 1989, the band reached the chart six more times, with four climbing to the Top 40. On this date in 1983, the last of the seven songs from the first act, “Love In Store” rose to a peak position of number 22, where it would spend three weeks. Today, “Love In Store” by Fleetwood Mac is the Daily Eighties Flashback.
